If you have been reading Love the Here and Now for awhile you know I love ending my week by linking up with Meagan for Blogger Love. Meagan has been one of my closest blogging friends for quite some time now. She recently moved from Chicago to Texas. Picking up and moving is hard; add in a young family as well and you have some upheaval and adjusting to do. She asked me if I would take over her weekly link up, Blogger Love, while she gets situated. As I am such a huge fan of both her and the link up I couldn’t say no. So for the next few weeks I hope you will join me and share the posts that you loved from other bloggers. Let’s get on to this week’s Blogger Love.
Dedicated to Discovery My 2016 Word of the Year by Mr. Thomas and Me
I love picking out a word of the year to focus and guide me. I also love hearing what others choose for their words and what they are working on. Like Amber, I start the year out strong and fade as time goes on. I love the idea of setting monthly things to focus on. I’m hoping to implement something similar. An added bonus? She is selling One Little Word products in her Etsy shop. That’s a great way to keep your word close and present.
Setting Boundaries – Why It’s So Important by A Branch of Holly
A gentle reminder for the Holiday season….take the time to step back and truly enjoy the holidays with family and friends. The Internet and Bogland will still be here waiting….time with loved ones is so much more important and valuable.
DIY Tassel Garland by But First, Coffee
I love tassel garlands. In fact I have 4 throughout my house, all purchased on Etsy. Thankfully this post explains how to make them (hint: it’s not hard) and I can swap them out if and when needed with new colors. It’s a fun craft to make with my daughters and can be used for celebrations throughout the year.
Christmas Shopping Coupon Codes by All the Joys
Christmas is officially a week away. Has panic set in yet?? Not done shopping? Don’t order anything without checking this list from Meagan. Anytime I can save some money I am a bit happier. Thanks Meagan for sharing the wealth with these codes!
Chocolate Mint Christmas Dream by Dream Big and Buy the Shoes
Emelia had me at chocolate and mint and then sealed the deal with how easy and delicious this recipe looks. For those of us culinary-challenged (read: ME) this is right up my alley.
