I feel like a record on repeat when it comes to styled stock photos but I can’t not pass along great info onto others when I have it right? What’s better than styled stock photos? FREE styled stock photos. And what’s better than free styled stock photos? Free stock photos that arrive in newsletters EACH MONTH. Yep. You read that right. Today I am sharing newsletters that provide free styled stock photos each month.
This post does contain affiliate links.
The ultimate goal of many of these sites that provide styled stock photos is a reader that purchases photos or a subscription to a styled stock photo library. For example, I was instantly hooked on the work of Rachel from Haute Chocolate and I am now a member of her styled stock library. In fact, the image above is from the library and the iPad image is a screenshot right from her library (now you can download collections!! Cue all the heart eye emojis). You may not be as avid of a fan of styled stock photos as I am. Have no worries, with the generosity of the following ladies you can get high quality photos delivered to your inbox via their newsletters each month.
Newsletters that Provide Free Styled Stock Photos
My love of styled stock photos all began with Shaye and her Stockshop. I mean really….look at her work. I want it all. I have splurged on a few photos and have certainly gotten my money’s worth. The header image of my blog and all of my featured images are taken from one photo I purchased from her.
Just in case you were wondering if the free images were of lesser quality than those you can purchase from the Stockshop, I can assure you they aren’t.
Need more proof?
This is a newer find for me. Cindy has an Etsy shop as well. Her images are bright and feminine with white space which is a must for me.
A hint of greenery and pink pink flowers? Sold!
Each month, Chaitra sends not just one or two free photos, she sends a whole pack! Imagine florals, bright photos, and vibrant colors and you have an inkling of what her work is.
Rachel’s work in my opinion is simply amazing. The variety, the themes, the affordability, and the attention to detail are second to none. If you are a Love the Here and Now reader, you will recognize her work in just about every post I write as I use her images in about 99% of all of my graphics. I have also written about her a handful of times (like here and here). Want a glimpse of some of her latest freebies?
Pink? Peonies? SOLD!
And for those desktop lovers out there, you will love this one. Laptop? Check. Gold? Check. Office supplies? Check. Yep….it’s got it all.
Getting the Most Out of Your Free Photos
Perhaps you don’t want to join a monthly subscription or pay for your styled stock photos. I understand that. Personally, styled stock is definitely a blog investment worth every penny in my opinion. You can get plenty of use out of a few free photos each month.
Getting the most out of your styled stock photography is easy to do. With a few different creative crops you can turn one photo into many. Add overlays and text to photos to make them truly unique.
