I can promise you something. If I have a DIY project it’s going to be 2 things. Easy to do and fast. I think I should have also added that the supplies needed would be easy to find and said supplies should be kept at a minimum. I guess what I’m basically trying to tell you is that if I can do the DIY project, anybody can.
Today I am showing you how to make coasters. You may remember that I recently added a bar cart to my dining room. I needed some coasters for when we had company over.
I bought ceramic tiles from Lowe’s (4″ x 4″). Can you believe the price on those? Dirt cheap.
Next stop was Hobby Lobby for some scrapbook paper. I knew I wanted something with gold to go with my dining room. Hobby Lobby never disappoints me.
I cut my paper into 4 1/2 ” squares.
I applied a coat of Modge Podge on to the tile and then placed the scrapbook paper on top and coated the top with another layer of Modge Podge.
