Spring, to me, brings to mind pastels, florals, and a feminine feel. For this month’s Pairin’ o’ Fonts with Ashley from The Grits Blog I chose to focus on fonts that made me think of Spring, since it seems that Mother Nature is dragging winter out a bit around these parts. Why not get some cheer by using these spring-like fonts for your blog and graphic design?
As always, some of the fonts are free and some I purchased. If you are looking to add more fonts to your collection I have another great bundle deal for you. I purchased this bundle and love it. It is chock full of great design elements, fonts, and at a huge savings (by the way I am merely promoting it because I want to and because it’s such a great deal, not because I am getting paid to).
Smoothy Cursive (Sweet) // Source Sans Pro Light (Pea)
Bellanie Script (Pink) // Densia Sans (Peony)
Gardenia (Pink) // Fashionism Light (Tulip)
Dandelion Soup (Purple) // District Pro Thin (Lilac)
Helena (Cherry) // Mank Sans (Blossom)
In Screaming Color (Spring) // Andes Extra Light (Fonts)
Script fonts have always been my favorite but I am slowly coming to love the simplicity and beauty of the sans serif fonts (the 2nd fonts in each pairing). They can be paired with anything and have a great, clean look on their own.
Here’s Ashley’s picks for April.
